Some simple Dos and Don’ts to help you enjoy your yoga class
- DO wear clothing that you find easy to move and stretch in.
- DO bring your own yoga mat, if you have one, although we do have some to share.
- DO let the teacher know if you have a medical condition before you start your class- we can work around it and modify the movements to suit your ability.
- DO ask questions.
- DON’T eat a big meal before practising yoga- it’s best to leave around 2 hours after a meal to allow your system to digest your food.
- DON’T push yourself beyond your limits. Yoga is not a competition- not even with yourself!
